Last Saturday we went to the pancake breakfast at the Overgaard airport.
This weird one had the propeller in the back.
This one was very small.
There was a balloon lady. Dev was not cooperating so that's why he isn't in the picture.
Smokey was there.
Dillan sat in the fire truck. I didn't want to.
We started to take apart the old fort that was by the sandbox.
We take turns washing dishes.
Saturday night we changed the couch and the love seat around so we would have more room watching TV. I say that was a good move.
Now we're not so squished!
Sunday was Father's Day. We wanted to go to the Red Onion. Dev was having a meltdown and was not cooperating but we ended up going anyway! Grammy says that he remind her of Uncle Brent when he didn't want to go to a restaurant.
Monday we started to build the new fort. There is a separate post that we wrote about that project. I am already to be a carpenter for the next several days. We had to do alot of planning.
Then Dev's quad became part of the action.
Meatloaf on a bun!
We all like corn on the cob!
I start in the middle.
Clean plate!
We all like to torment the lizards.
This guy did a high dive off of the top of the new fort!
Here is one of our lizards that we pulled off the tail!
So mostly all week we worked on the fort.
Thursday the Wash fire started north of Heber. We could see the smoke from the hill behind the cabin and we could see it also from our fort.
The electricity went off around noon because the fire was close to some power lines.
We finished the sign for our fort.
We still didn't have electricity at supper time so Grandpa cooked the pizzas on the grill but one got kinda burned!
The power didn't come on until after we went to bed. There was no TV or Wii so we had to tell stories and burn candles and use flashlights.
Friday we went to a ventriloquist at the Heber Library. I thought he was just OK but Dillan said he was lame. Grammy really liked him.
