Fall Break- Tuesday

Tuesday was the day for fishing at Black Canyon Lake.


All the practicing the day before proved to have paid off, as everyone was capable of casting their own lines.

Logan caught a crawdad!

Time to crawl on the fence for awhile.

Before the fire 8 years ago, the lake was lined with thick Ponderosas.

Time to go home? I think this was after Logan snagged Dev in the back with his hook! No scars!

Dil was the ONLY one who caught a trout. He got it when he was reeling in. It was a big one: one pound and 13 inches long. Grandpa caught a crawdad, too.

After the fish was cleaned, it was hot tub time.

Look at these shiny rocks! Lookin' good.

It's hard to see the difference but the ones on the left have had some tumbling time, the ones on the right are regular.

More email time....sandbox time..walking around the world...and swinging!

Dev was entranced watching SpongeBob. Notice his sunny moustache.

Dil ordered meat loaf for dinner.

Logan doesn't like meatloaf so this was a piece that got rounded... and put on a bun....

.....with a piece of cheese to make a cheeseburger!

Logan and Dil, for the most part, do not like the same food. They always choose the opposite of each other. It's rather comical but very predictive and frustrating. Dev will eat anything. Although there has been mention, Dev is getting some quality potty time with rewards of fruit snacks. We are FAR from being completely successful. Usually his reply to the question if he has to go to the bathroom is " I don't have to"!
