Fall Break- Thursday

Logan planned to get us all going early to get a good fishing spot at Black Canyon. This activity included bringing the crawdad trap along to catch some more of those ugly things. Well, we got there and didn't have any trouble finding the perfect spot. The trap was baited with a lizard and a trout head!

We hardly had the poles in the water and Dev was in the treat bag looking for a "snack"!

After a couple hours of waiting, waiting, waiting....we had to leave without a fish or a crawdad!
A baby bass somehow found his way into the trap. Dil planned to take the fish home and put in their aquarium. BUT the fish got away. Man, there were tears and more tears!

We had a couple of sleepers on the way back. Dil was spying squirrels along the way but the guns were at home. (Dev sure is much more manageable after a short nap!)


The boys found a great DIRT area on our property line, that is really good for Tonka trucks.


It was rather a low key day....more swinging, playing in the sandbox and shooting. And Dev did pretty good with the bathroom scene! Dinner was leftovers so that was easily. Got to clean out the fridge!


And here is the surprise of the day! Logan taught Dil how to email....by himself! It was a long ordeal but he managed to send an email to Uncle Brenty! I bet the boys will be asking for a computer (or two) for Christmas!!!

2. Check batteries in Buzz.
3. Buy more Mt. Dew.
