1. We have found some time to get back into the golf mode with our RV friends. This picture was to document the girls win!...That would be creative scoring or something to that effect!
2. Brent announced that he was going to trek around the world on the new Queen Elizabeth, Cunard's newest ocean liner (long story). The boys are tracking the ships stops on this map. Last week he came through the Panama Canal, up the Mexican coast and was in Los Angeles on Saturday. To view the ship's itinerary click here
3. The boys have a new look. Each of them (Logan and Dil) got 2 pairs of new glasses.
Here is professor Dil. I think he looks like Harry Potter. (Maybe he'll be as rich!)
Wonder how long it will be before the dog gets a bite out of them or Dev flings them across the floor with one of his famous back hands (like he did mine a year ago!)
4. We have gotten out into the desert on a weekly basis with the quads (or the ATV's, as some Midwestern folks call them).
This is the adventure last week in Walnut Canyon, south of Superior. We were accidentally on the road to the famous Coke ovens but didn't go far enough. In total it was more than a 20 mile ride. Upon further consultation back at the park, we were probably within a mile of the destination but there were no road signs and no Ms. GPS lady to give us the precise directions.
This is a little difficult to see with the tree shadows but JB is going up this sharp incline! Walking time for me!
And he made it up in fine shape.
Our friend, Gary, took 2 tries....
5. So January has ended with JB playing in a golf tourney on Saturday and the Beltz family camping in the desert for the weekend with their cousin, Aaron, and family.
The camp set up.
We visited today. Logan and I am on my quad for the real purpose for Log to drive a BIG quad..... and that he did. I had to hold on around the corners!
Mr. Dev is rounding up his quad cuz....
..it's time to go home. Back to the grind tomorrow! Beth has gone back to work full time (after a 7 year hiatus) for a year so she has to get home and get organized for the week!
6. Tomorrow we will have a little raise in our pension deposit, which we'll take without hesitation!
Next week Wed and Sun we'll be working security on the 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open so that will be my next post. Be sure to look for us on TV!
